JAKARTA - Manufacturers from Malaysia, Proton, under the banner of Proton Edar Indonesia (PEI), said he is stepping down from the stage automotive IIMS 2013. This continuing trend is too bad they missed at IIMS 2012.
"The resignation was not merely a sudden and easy decision because it has been a long and hard thought, because it involves many stakeholders who have worked hard to prepare themselves in IIMS 2013," said Mohd. Asri Bin Khayan, President Director of PEI. Okezone in a release received on Saturday (09/21/2013).
PEI considers the placement location in IIMS 2013 Proton less strategic, just as it had been revealed Johnny Darmawan, chairman organizing committee IIMS 2013.
However, Mohd. Asri Bin Khayan also added, "until the end of 2013, PROTON has planned some great events, and therefore PROTON expects darimedia publicity and attention and of automotive enthusiasts in the homeland".
Proton officially operating in Indonesia since 2007, since then PEI has a lot to sell many of their products, including the Savvy, Gen 2, GEN.2 Persona, Waja, Wira, Neo, Saga, Exora, Persona Elegance, Neo CPS, Saga FL , Exora Star, Exora Star Executive and Exora Star Supreme.
