Former Premier League referee, Mark Hasley, the referee warned of possible suicide due to work pressure is too great.
This concern was conveyed in the book excerpts published by the media in the UK.
Hasley who is now aged 52 years and retired at the end of last season said a psychiatric disorder can suffer Premier League referee.
"I believe if we do not get help and support, there will be a referee who committed suicide," said Hasley.
Question is how to support, guide, and assistance for referees in overcoming mental illness and stress.
In this book, among others, presented Hasley case of Babak Rafati, the referee in the Bundesliga were found lying in the bath with the wrist scratched.
United penalty case
Rafati lives could be saved after undergoing psychiatric treatment for treating depression that he experienced.
Hasley become victims of threats and abuse on Twitter after leading the Manchester United-Liverpool game last season, which ended with United winning 2-1 at Anfield.
