Hundreds of Thousands Honda Pulled in 4 Countries


Honda pulled 405,400 cars in the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia. This recall because there is damage to the computer chip used in airbag systems.

The damage involves 342,000 2003-2004 Odyssey MPV which is marketed in the U.S., and 63 400 Acura MDX assemblies in 2003 in the U.S., Canada, Japan and Australia.

Honda Motor Co. spokesman, said Tsuyoshi Hojo kelisrikan air bag system on this car is damaged so that it can expand at any time, as reported by Reuters on Wednesday (25/09/2013).

Honda parties say, with a computer chip supplier TRW code. Lucky until now there were no fatalities caused by damage to the airbag safety system.

Honda promised to install electrical signal filters on cars involved damage to avoid injury.
