NOAH band from Indonesia become one of MTV Europe music awards nominee (EMA) which will be held in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands, on November 10.
NOAH clickin the category Best Act Southeast Asia and compete with Hafiz from Malaysia, Olivia Ong from Singapore, the Philippines Sarah Geronimo, Slot Machine from Thailand and Vietnam My TAM.
The announcement was posted on the MTV EMA website on Tuesday (17/09) and can also give the fans their choice online.
Southeast Asia category Best Act is part of the MTV EMA Worldwide Act section that pays tribute to artists from different continents.
Another category in the Worldwide Act for Asia also include artists from Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Meanwhile Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis dominate the list of nominees this year.
Both likely won five awards, including best music video for the song Mirrors.
While Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, the first ever MTV EMA nominees entered, the favorite for best song and best hip hop category.
Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus compete in the category of best female artist, and they are also in the category of best video with Robin Thicke.
MTV said it will announce the list of performers and presenters in the coming days.
