NEW YORK CITY - Apple product lovers who lined up in front of the company's retail stores to await the latest iPhone would no longer be a shocking news. But for this year, a total pengantre iPhone at Apple's flagship retail store, Fifth Avenue in New York City, United States (U.S.), managed to break the previous record number.

According to the monitoring Piper Jaffray analyst, Gene Munster, 1,417 people lined up to welcome the launch of the new iPhone at 8 am, Friday (20/9). Munster surveyed Apple stores every year since the first iPhone launched in 2007.
Total to queue this year even beat a similar incident at the launch of the iPhone 4 in the same store. It also marked an increase of 83 percent compared to the to queue of the iPhone 5.

The big jump the to queue iPhone called as events that do not normally happen. Apple store locations in other woods, including on the Upper West Side, Manhattan and other stores in Minneapolis, Munster found only a slight increase compared to last year.

"Most of the buyers seem to wait for the iPhone 5S than 5C," Munster wrote in a note investors, as quoted from Mashable, Saturday (09/21/2013).

Unfortunately, according to a report by Mashable, Apple iPhone 5S seem limiting supply. This is because a number of stores reported to have sold all the premium version of the latest iPhone that quickly. But Apple is rumored to have asked the supplier partners to increase production of iPhone 5S gold to one-third of the initial inventory.

Furthermore, Munster reiterated that Apple will sell 5-6 million iPhones during the weekend. While analysts believe iPhone sales could reach 8 million units in the same period.

Given Apple's practice, companies often release sales figures for the first weekend on Monday.
