Not quite beta, FB Alpha Testers open Android program. Equally or pilot testing program but with certain differences. Users who have registered to participate in the beta program to try in the alpha program.
Beta program itself was launched some time ago. Facebook initially only did this beta program for Android Facebook application alone.
See the user's interest is high enough, Facebook later expanded beta program for their other applications. Is Facebook Home Android launcher application that has targeted next.
For alpha program steps are almost the same. Applicants are only required to join a Facebook group for Android Alpha register. Once registered please download the application. Here are the steps to register.
- Join Facebook for Android Google Group Alpha Testers in here first.
- Visit the page is then click on Become a Tester.
- Uninstall Android Facebook app on the phone.
- Go to Google Play or click here and install the Facebook application.
- Enable automatic updates settings to get the latest updates per week application.
Alpha and beta programs equally true. Both are applications or not final trial that tested by a set of users. That made the difference they are, to get full control of the alpha program developers.
In addition to Facebook, Twitter also release a similar program. Twitter Androidbeta app is now running at 5.0 Bersi. As for the Facebook version 3.9 alpha running with a capacity of 25 MB.
