Perpetrators of child murder in California was a film crew Hunger Games

 

Police in the United States confirm that the person who killed six people in California is a 22-year-old man named Rodger Elliot.

This student is the son of Hollywood filmmaker Peter Rodger - who was assistant director of the film The Hunger Games.

In a news conference, police said Rodger Elliot was stabbed to death in his apartment three friends.

He then drove to Isla Vista and shoot people at random.

After facing a shootout with police, Rodger was found dead in his car with a gunshot wound to the head.

In the region of Santa Barbara Sheriff Bill Brown said Rodger apparently committed suicide when the shooting occurred.


Asperger

Investigators are now analyzing the YouTube video that shows a man who called himself Elliot Rodger sitting in the car seat and said he wanted revenge against humanity.

Sheriff Brown said "very clear" that the gunman was "extremely mentally disturbed" and added: "This is obviously the work of people crazy".

He said authorities have seized three semi-automatic pistol after shooting Friday, all legally purchased and registered in the name of Rodger.

Previously, attorney Peter Rodger, Alan shifman, saying that "the family believe that the child was the culprit".

He said Rodger's son has Asperger's syndrome. He is difficult to build friendships and have received professional help.

Shifman added that the family had contacted police about the "latest videos on YouTube" by Elliot "about suicide and killing people."

Family feels "devastated" and cooperate with the police, he said.
