Who likes suspect and hate philosophy, go see The Philosophers. Take in the film. Therefore, in the film you will witness something fun called philosophy.
Philosophy, in this film is the main character who is invisible, but quickly conjured a number of young people.
In a classroom at a high school in Jakarta international, bright young people from different nations challenged the teacher on the last day of class Philosophy ahead of graduation. They play around with philosophy, logic and morals, also the fate of mankind after the end of the day.
In class, the teacher (played by James D'Arcy) raise the question: If a nuclear disaster on a global scale threatens human life, and is only available a bunker which is filled with ten men to live for a year, free of radiation contaminated air, who deserve to go to the bunker and who should be eliminated?
Before you answer, well in advance what the pervading philosophy. Philosophy is often referred to as the mother science. Syahdan, in a philosophy class we met 20 students who perform simulations philosophical toying with the fate of mankind at a time when the fate of the human race as a species was in jeopardy due to a nuclear catastrophe. These students act as individuals with various professions: organic farmers, building engineers, chemists, ice cream maker, stockbrokers, soldiers, harpist, opera singer, surgeons, carpenters, wine expert, poet, until the male midwife.
They argue who is more worthy to enter into the bunker and forced to be removed. What farmers more viable life of the poet? What the army is more useful than a harpist? Or, which is more valuable after the nuclear disaster, carpenter or an opera singer?
At the beginning of the film, viewers are invited to a problem, if there are five people tied to a railway track, while in another there was a rail-bound, sahkah when a train rammed then directed to only one person and save five? Or, if there are five people tied to a rail, and there is a stout that weighs enough to be able to dispel the pace train, is it wrong if we offered it was hit by a train and by so doing, save the five people tied?
As an effort of thought, philosophy demands for radical thinking. The handle ethics and morality, and logic.
In this film by John Huddles we invited the three simulation philosophy that took place in three exotic locations Prambanan Temple, Mount Bromo, and a beach in the Pacific. In each simulation generates a different ending for the decisions taken.

In the end, the film is merely interpret "Cinta Laura Hollywood movie" or even "Hollywood film introduces the beauty of Indonesia", the essence of the film is actually a little dwarf. `The Philosophers' deeper than the two things that appear on the surface.
This film, with all good intentions raised stage name of Indonesia to the world film industry, is actually a form of invitation to us, to our humanity ignite, ignite our brain to think clearly, and questioned the logic of moral decision and we will take.
