TomTato, Horticultural Engineering Unique Fruit Tomato and Potato

TomTato, that's the name of a unique piece of engineering results. The fruit is not a 'tattoo' but plants engineered hybrids of two tomato fruit but once the bulbous potatoes. Yes, TomTato a blend of Tomato with Potato.
From appearance alone is truly unique. At this plant on the leaves and fruit like tomato plants. These plants also do tomatoes. But at the roots especially bulbs, TomTato 'fruitful' potatoes.

What happened to TomTato was intentional. Is a plantation company Thomson & Morgan behind the horticulture genetic modification. The company originated from Suffolk, England.
But do not be mistaken if TomTato idea is a new thing. In fact, quoted by the Daily Mail, engineering idea has arisen since 15 years ago. Paul Hansord, director of Thomson & Morgan was then seen tomato plants growing on top of the potato crop.

At that time then he thought. Why not put together the two plants alone? As a result TomTato grafting technique was performed with both plants. The process was manual by hand to produce a double crop.
What about the results? Do not be surprised if TomTato can bear about 500 tomatoes. For potato unfortunately only 'fruitful' few. Paul is now being thought how to make TomTato to be commercial.
By a process of trial and error finally succeeded Paul. TomTato is now ready to be marketed to the UK and America. So what is the price? Quite affordable for the citizens of the two countries which is 14 pounds, or approximately Rp 259 thousand.
