Video Gangnam Style made famous South Korean musician, Psy, became the first videos on Youtube were played over two billion times.
The music video uploaded in July 2012 and became the sensation of the world and much imitated her dance movements.
No one could match the popularity of Gangnam Style on Youtube. Its closest competitor is the video with the song Baby Justin Beiber who have played more than one billion times.
Horse dance style much imitated and parodied Psy by many people, ranging from prison inmates in the Philippines to the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.
After Gangnam Style, Psy launched a video titled Gentleman is quite popular also played on Youtube with more than 700 million times.
This video broke the record as the most watched video in one day, as many as 38 million times.
"Difficulties"
Psy spend a lot of time to do a world tour to the U.S., Europe, and Asia last year.
The 36-year-old musician earlier expressed difficulty trying to match the success of Gangnam Style.
"The problem is, my music video is more popular than my own," he said. "So I have to beat my first music video."
In 2012, Psy awarded the highest award in the arts in South Korea is Okgwan Order Of Cultural Merit.
He also appeared in the inauguration of South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.
