The station 8TV Malaysia has revoked three ads to mark the Muslim fasting month after numerous protests because it is considered insulting and racist.
30-second ad featured a woman of Chinese descent with tight clothes in a market while pointing at the food in front of a number of people who fast.
The television show was followed by a message to viewers to respect Ramadan.
8TV station, through the Facebook social networking, has apologized and admitted fault because penyelipan a bit of humor that can be responded to differently.
Parties to the television station said it "humbly apologize, if there are parties who are not pleased over the ad."
"The message was not meant to offend anyone," the statement added.

A number of the protesting parties, including Muslim, criticized advertising that is considered to corner the Chinese minority.

Facebook 8TV. Social observer of the University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Abdul Ghapa Harun, said the incident shows Malaysian society has been increasingly sensitive over the incident involving race and religion.
"It looks now, a form of public indecision of fragility in terms of inter-ethnic relations is caused if the parties are more likely to use issues that are communalism as a basis to consolidate the political position of each. As a result the sensitivity of the community is increasing," said Abdul Ghapa Aaron told the BBC Indonesia. "
Last September, another private television TV3 also forced to withdraw advertisements regarding Muslims after people complained about the advertisement influenced Christian elements.
