General Motors Co. attracted nearly 20,000 units of Cadillac SRX crossover in China and the United States because of the potential transmission defect.
GM's China joint venture company Shanghai GM is appealing compact luxury SUV is as much as 9862 units in China. GM also drew as many as 8789 units of cars in the United States.

If the vehicle inadvertently driven with a manual transmission and left running with the first gear in a long time, power steering fluid can leak too hot so that it can result in fire, GM said. But so far, there has been no reports of fire.
