Hyundai Veloster Turbo Start Revealed


DETROIT - In a carpet Detroit Auto Show 2012, Hyundai has showcased Veloster Turbo. Veloster Turbo on display is a production version ready to be sold in 2013 for the automotive market the United States (U.S.).

As reported by autoevolution, Tuesday (01/10/2012) Hyundai Veloster Turbo is still using a 1600 cc engine with four cylinders. However, what distinguishes the addition of T-GDI (gasoline direct-injection turbocharged) dual variable valve timing.

The engine is available in a version of a six-speed manual and automatic. With these machines, this car has a power of about 152 kW/203 HP or an increase of 70 hp at 6,000 rpm and 265 Nm at 1750 RPM.

Although the machinesare equipped with high capacity, Veloster Turbo is claimed to still have fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness. Once launched in Detroit, this carwill soon go into the next stage of development and production stage in the summer of this year.

In Korea, this car with one door on the driver's side and two on the passenger side is sold at a price USD17.200 or approximately Rp153 million for the choice of manual transmission and $ 18.640, or approximately USD 165 million forthe automatic transmission.

For this turbo version, the price hasnot been determined, given the still under development.
