TOKYO - Manga supernatural creation of Osamu Tezuka Dororo will be adapted into a film. However, until now has not revealed whether the film is in the form of animated or live-action.
"I'm working on an adaptation of legendary manga Dororo artist Osamu Tezuka," said Ernesto Foronda, as reported by AnimeNewsNetwork, Tuesday (03/06/2012).
Foronda is a film director and writer for Sunset Stories that will be coming soon. He was also involved as a music consultant for Fast & Furious and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
While the story made Dororo is Tezuka Osamu Hyakkimaru adventure story, a rounin (no master samurai) who lost 48 of his father due Hyakkimaru agreement with the devil.
Hyakkimaru abandoned as a baby, raised by a doctor who restored her body with an artificial body. Then, a street thief named Dororo joins Hyakkimaru, and they even ventured to restore the body to find the devil Hyakkimaru.
The manga has inspired two anime series in 1969, a live- action film in 2007, and two games. the 2004 version of the PlayStation 2 game released in English under the title Blood Will Tell.
