Ubi-Camera (Photo: Geeky Gadgets)

TOKYO - Researchers from the Institute of Advanced Media Artsand Science, in Ogaki, Gifu, Japan create a prototype new camera type. Is the Ubi-Camera, which allows captured images to create a rectangle with your hands.

Then how do I work this camera prototype?

Simply by connecting the camerato the index finger and then hada rectangular shape with fingers. Rectangle formed by your fingers were functioning as a viewfinder (viewfinder) for the camera, while the images are captured by pressing the camera using the thumb.

Quoted from Mashable, Saturday (03/31/2012), Ubi-Camera has anintegrated sensor that can tell the sheer number of spaces between the camera with a photographer's face, and use the information to take pictures.

For example, when you take pictures with her face close to the camera then it will get a wide angle image. Then if you move your fingers further, then the image will be captured with more closely. As for the zoom on the photo can only be done by using a PC.

The researchers had to do a short demo of this in DigInfo TV cameras, which show how the unique workings of the Ubi-Camera.

Meanwhile, the distance sensor using infrared technology, which is sometimes difficult to detect faces and can be affected by light. Well, this is for the developers expect the camera untuuk update later.

In prototype form, the camera must also be connected to a PC when used for photographing. But developers hope, to make a better version and can be used without depending on the computer.
