Tonight in Jakarta, Earthquakes and Lunar Eclipse

Jakarta - There are two natural phenomena that can be felt by the citizens of the capital this evening. The first earthquake shock is part of the population of Jakarta and its surroundings, and the phenomenon of a lunar eclipse.

"In principle, can be seen all over Indonesia, but in Indonesia east of this eclipse visible throughout the whole process," said Research Professor of Astronomy Astrophysics Lapan, Thomas Djamaluddin, in conversation with AFP on Sunday (06/03/2012).

Djamaluddin said partial lunar eclipse occurs at 17:00 am until19:06 pm. The result for the western part of Indonesia, theeclipse occurs when the moon had not risen.
