In the Antarctic ice sheet continues to thin out and hit a record low last year. During this time, climate change blamed as a cause of sea ice melt Antatika.

But now a team of researchers succeeded in finding answers to global warming.

During this time, a growing opinion is part of the surface of the ice in Antarctica has melted. However, the researchers believe, is not the melting ice on the surface, but the bottom layer, which will re-freeze.

The team of researchers from the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute said, Antarctica is a continent surrounded by open water, which is possible in the sea ice continues to exist during the winter.

The study was published in the journal Nature Geoscience stated, the sea ice in Antarctica will continue to rise despite global warming.

"That's because the ice just melted on the bottom layer. While the top layer will continue to grow, especially in the winter," said Richard Bintanja, researchers from the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute, told the BBC, 2 April 2013.

The researchers also predict recurring phenomenon is likely to continue.

Meanwhile, according to Paul Holland, researchers from the British Antarctic Survey, said of the findings in the last year. Winds will keep the ice away from the coast, making the ice is in the open ocean.

"The condition of the cold sea water allows ice will return to form. Especially in the winter," said Holland.
