Warhol's work was exhibited in parliament

Andy Warhol was the first artist work on display in parliament
An Andy Warhol exhibition held at Holyrood, for the first time an artist exhibitions conducted in the parliament building.

Andy Warhol paintings on the theme of Pop, Power and Politics including iconic works that have never been shown in Scotland.
This exhibition is the result of collaboration between the Scottish Parliament, Carnegie UK Trust and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
This exhibition coincides with the week commemorating the legacy of Andrew Carnegie.
Andrew Carnegie International Heritage Foundation held a festival to commemorate the Scottish philosopher and a century Carnegie UK Trust.
Carnegie Warhol exhibition featuring photos, and also Lenin, Chairman Mao and the Queen.
In conjunction with the exhibition, two portraits of Andy Warhol taken by Scottish photographer Harry Benson, will be loaned to the Parliamentary Art Collection and will be on display in the UK for the first time.
Angus Hogg, chairman of the Carnegie UK Trust, said: "Andy Warhol has a special place for Carnegie, not only the foundation but also a long history of promoting access to arts and culture, but also because Warhol received his art training for the first time at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh.
Andy Warhol exhibition will be held on 5 October to 3 November.
