China Car Safety Standards will be tightened
Beijing, No denying that the image of China-made cars are still fairly bad. Especially when viewed from the side of safety. To dismiss this case, the Chinese government also plans to perform testing more 'hard' to any existing Chinese brand cars.
Security issues are arguably the biggest problems faced by China's auto manufacturers in their efforts to become a player in the global market. The perception that emerged after a lot of frightening incidents experienced by the domestic-made cars bamboo curtain.
Even in testing conducted by the safety agency in Germany, Brillance BS6 luxury sedan was completely destroyed after a hit-and tested only with a speed of 64 km / hour.
Several years ago the Frankfurt motor show organizers even had time to ask one brand of China to close their booths because the car had been taken to display not pass roadworthy tests.
To release the negative image that has been obtained overdo it, repairs were carried out by the Chinese government with various improvements.
The latest report, testing conducted by the China New Car Assessment Program (C-NCAP) will soon be tightened starting in July 2012.
The new standards that will apply it later on will make every new car produced China should have higher security standards. In addition, the safety of passengers in the back seat would be considered too.
Because believe it or not, until now China's security standards do not incorporate a safety standard for rear seat passengers. Driver assistant features such as stability control will also be considered for the first time.
The target, China wants their car safety standards equal or at least approach the safety standards currently applied in Europe through the Euro NCAP standards and the U.S. National Highway Transportation Safety Board. Safety standards is arguably is something that is important to note the development of China's auto recall is now being discovered breaking point.
For since the year 2006, only 59 Chinese branded cars that managed to get five-star safety standards. That figure is less than half of China's car who was born at the same time that reaches hundreds of models.
