Plant Food Passion Sex Myth of True & False
Ranging from oysters to the avocado, a lot of myths about food plants in sexual desire (aphrodisiac) are outstanding. There is a myth, but there are some health experts say could actually improve sexual function.
According to Debby Herbenick, PhD, associate directorr of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, the food consumed does have a very important role on sexual health. But what kind of food that has the ability to increase libido is better than another?
Here are the facts and myths about aphrodisiac foods, as quoted from Womansday.
A.Oysters: Facts
Diet and nutrition experts MCGHealth Jessica Baye explained, oysters have a high zinc content. Zinc serves to stimulate testosterone - the hormone is important in generating sexual desire. Jessica suggested to include oysters on the menu for a romantic dinner with your partner. But limit the amount, not too much because excess cholesterol can contribute to poor health.
2.Banana: The Myth
You may have heard of the banana's reputation as a libido- enhancing food. But does eating a banana after dinner will help you get better sex? Jessica and other researchers believe that eating a small piece of chocolate per day can help boost sexual desire.
6.Red chili: Facts
