The doctor who was found guilty of killing pop star Michael Jackson was released from prison after serving nearly half of a four-year sentence.
Doctor Conrad Murray handed to his attorney in Los Angeles after midnight local time, Monday, October 28.
Although Murray awaited emergence of a number of journalists and fans of the late Michael Jackson, he did not pass through the main gate.
Instead doctors use the back door to avoid the rush of reporters.
Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of murder by mistake by giving lethal injections to help Michael Jackson sleep difficulties overcome.
At that time, Judge Michael Pastor said Dr Murray showed no remorse and still endanger the public.
Argued hard
The judge made the decision after a Los Angeles jury panel decided Dr Murray guilty resulting in the death of pop star Michael Jackson.
The seven-member panel takes two days to make a decision.
Doctor Murray was born in Grenada, Caribbean. He was hired by concert promoter AEG Live as Jackson's doctor.
He denied all charges of murder of the pop star.
